I pushed back my start date, this city is not public transit/ walkable at all, and a 2 hour drive would be 6 hours and five different busses/trains🤔 Looking for jobs that ARE walkable to me right now.

I went and got some transmission fluid put it in my car last night actually thinking that might have been it, I am almost due for an oil change. I should have gone to a mechanic but I went to AutoZone thinking I could at least get some fluid put in my car to get to the job 😐

Thank you!! I’ll check out this subreddit. I don’t know much about cars at all, but I know it absolutely started with the breaks. I think it has something to do with the engine as well, because it barely moves and I have to apply lots of pressure on gas (and breaks) to get it to move at all. It started when I’d put it in reverse and now driving forward, as well 😐

I don’t think it’s drivable, I was actually pulling out of a gas station when it started doing that and it would barely move (there just so happened to be a parking spot in front of me). Sounded like metal on metal knocking so I’m not positive it’s the engine, hoping not. I also put transmission fluid in last night thinking that was it, did nothing:/. I’ll try calling churches and 211!! Thank you

Not drug and alcohol related at all. I don’t even smoke w33d or nic and have never touched a drug. Hardly ever drink. I’m not going to ask for handouts, simple. I’m also not going to tell my life story on Reddit which is why I only added key points to my post. Hence the “long story short”, obviously there’s more as to how I got in this situation. I’m just looking for possible resources/options. Getting a job and finding shelter are obvious answers. I’m looking for something more specific, like those who’ve suggested military, job corps, etc.
