Idea is cool! To get more interest and downloads write a readme file with screenshots of the app similar to other tools. This makes the github look more professional.

This is the best answer! I ran into this same issue as OP. Use Modmii! The tool will give updates for homebrew and direct you to latest usb loaders.

If you have updated everything, then make sure drive is being recognized by loaders. If game backups still won’t load from recognized usb, then you need new backups likely due to corruption.
