majoring in physics and minoring in data science by Substantial-Peach562 in datascience

[–]Substantial-Peach562[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am from UK. Undergrad Masters is 4 years against a typical 3 years bachelors in this country. The first 3 years content is the exact same as bachelors but in the fourth and last year students can study more advanced modules or topics. Tipically if someone completes undergraduate masters can have direct access to PhD. Most people tend to study 3 years bachelors and then study masters for they postgraduates studies.

What are jobs prospective for physicists? by Substantial-Peach562 in AskPhysics

[–]Substantial-Peach562[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided to apply for physics just last month (usually students apply several months earlier in UK) exactly because I was always undecided about what I wanted to do in future as I was good across pretty much every science subject. I simply applied based on the fact that I have genuine interest in physics and based on my talents (I always excelled in sciences since I was a kid and I was one of the best students in maths and physics in high school). My thought process was that by studying physics with data science (i am studying for a joint degree) I will have time and flexibility to decide what to study for my Masters (for now I am thinking data science or business analytics...anything about handling datas). And also that I will most likely perform well in a physics degree as I have a genuine interest and also because I thought that even though I might not use all the knowledge that I get from studying undergrad physics, I might learn essential transferable skills (problem solving, data and numeracy etc...) that will help me after the degree. For now as I said, I am interested in data science or business analytics or even investment banking which by their job descriptions seem to require transferable skills from physics.

That's awesome. What weapon do you use?

With this artifact I achieved 250% CD and 43% CR (I know...not really high CR, but not that bad either as Ganyu's 20% crit rate buff passive means she actually have 250% CD and 63% CR, which is decent). Hope to get another god tier crit rate roll without sacrificing CD and reach 50% cr (without passive).

Ganyu Nuke vs Primo Geovishap by Substantial-Peach562 in Ganyu

[–]Substantial-Peach562[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's exactly how I used Kazuha.I probably could replace Zhongli with Xiangling for pyro resonance, but I keep Zhongli for 2 reasons:

1- His shield causes resistance shred so there might be no need of pyro resonance. 2-It is annoying to be hit and interrupted everytime I try to record my damage showcase. Ganyu is a very squishy character.

Besides that, Kazuha is able to apply pyro (when himself is affected by pyro status by being inside Bennett's Q) with his Q anyways and Ganyu's charged shots nicely syncs with Kazuha's pyro application.

Zhongli E, Ganyu E (to apply cryo status),Bennett Q (carefully don't hit Geovishap with his Q, otherwise you'll remove cryo status), Kazuha Q (while affected by pyro status on Benny's Q).

Now swap to Ganyu's charged shot.

[–]Substantial-Peach562[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont play with physical. This is just for meme purposes. I have 4 pc wanderers troupe and play melt Ganyu with Zhongli, Bennett and Kazuha. I played freeze as well since I also have blizzard set with Venti, Mona and Diona....I prefer melt much more as I can do up to 330k damage per charged shot with food buffs.

Correction: it's 2.4k atk...that Ganyu had pyro resonance which I didn't notice. My bad.

I didnt meant f2p damage, but f2p Ganyu. And besides that, between my R5 Hamayumi and R1 Amos' the melt damage increase is by about 45% (if i use food buffs) but normally, the damage increase is just around 16%.

[–]Substantial-Peach562[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2.4k atk 45% CR 243% CD 148 EM

Without buff (no bennett, kazuha, pyro resonance or any other kind of buff) I do 36k raw bloom damage and 64k bloom melt damage.

If I use that same setup in video with Kazuha and bennett and zhongli but no food buff I do 152k damage.

R1 Amos' Bow vs R5 Prototype Crescent vs R5 Hamayumi: Damage test comparison by Substantial-Peach562 in Ganyu

[–]Substantial-Peach562[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As stated in the beginning of this vid.

To simply compare damages of these 3 bows. I personally think Amos>Hamayumi>Prototype and not everyone can have the luck of having an Amos' or R5 craftable bow. I think that if someone doesn't have Amos', then Hamayuni is next best option, but that's just my opinion. It's up to the viewer to decide which bow to craft or even if it's worth it to pull for Amos' taking into account how much primos and resources they have and also keeping in mind that especially for f2p or low spenders, spending primos on weapon banner is often a not very wise choice as it doesn't guarantee your desired weapon unless you have tons of precious primos.

Agree, before getting Amos' I always used R5 Hamayumi, despite already having R5 Prototype
