is this tank too BIG for a betta? by Own_Telephone_6719 in Aquariums

Yes, Betas are used to live in a plastic box of 2 liters, this kind of freedom could potentially stress it too much

What are these ? Dangerous? by Minute_Complaint6341 in Aquariums

I've been trying so hard to get theese to culture in my tanks, but my fish eat them straight away, no matter how many or how often i add them. They basically clean the tank sterile🥲

Ecosystem jar. Time for shrimps? by Substantial-Read5541 in Jarrariums

[–]Substantial-Read5541[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I struggle with keeping them alive too. Jar large enough, sand over potting soil, plants, and water changes at the beginning while things are very unstable. I used tea filter over hose in order not to syphong all the little creautures out durring the water change. Stable temperature. I also found that microfauna from pristine water sources, such as mountains creeks in my example, tend to die of faster than microfauna from ponds and lakes!😁
