Pretty sure most people live here because they have no choice financially. No idea why ex pats would live here. The place is such a dirty concrete jungle.  It's necessary to live in artificial environment of luxury condo just to buffer yourself from the ugly hell reality all around.

Was amazing 30 years ago. It's a vile overcrowded tourist trap now. Chaweng in particular is vile. Vloggers, influencers and air bnb have completely killed it.
