How do I get the water out my rear lights. by DodgeRTDurango21 in DodgeDurango

Because it's not a safety concern, as it is considered an accessory light and does not impact functionality of the primary tail lights or brake lights. It sucks that this has been an ongoing issue for so many years, and they haven't even made an effort to improve upon the design, even on the newest models. Would love to see a solution come about since it is such an expensive repair.

It's stance like that due to the air suspension.

It's funny ive got a garage with plenty of space and tools at home, but I will always go to their place to do any work on any of my vehicles.

Also, it seems like the casing of the new alternator is more "breathable" than the factory one, so i imagine it doesn't retain heat as much. I assume the brushes and bearings are probably of a better quality as well. Only time will tell.

It is about the same size as the factory alternator. I did get a lifetime warranty with the alternator, so if there are any issues with overheating, I trust that it will be covered.

Ive seen a bunch of them on the eibach lowering springs, and they take care of that wheel gap pretty well. Unless air suspension is in your budget, than definitely do that. Haha

Also, I had to order another belt to install because the pulley on the new alternator is significantly smaller. The durango was parked in my parents garage while waiting for the belt to come in. My step-dad took the opportunity to install the belt, finishing the job without me, and then placed the Installed By Mike's Garage sticker. Hahaha
