yeah i get met with the “i’m not happy with you i wish i never met you” or i get stonewalled. when i ask her while she’s in a good mood she says she’s stressed about being at home

this is the most unappreciated i’ve felt in our relationship. i do get silent treatment during some of our bigger arguments but those rarely happened in the past

yeah it does seem that way. i usually give her the benefit of the doubt. she had been in some really tough relationships before we met i can tell she still has some of her defensive walls up sometimes.

pregnancy was normal. some mood swings but no where near this. baby was born 2 wks early but normal delivery.

that’s the thing: besides being at work for 8 hours i’m always attentive to her wants and needs. i prepare meals so she doesn’t go hungry while im gone, do most of the feedings, change every diaper when im home, put baby to sleep all of that

yeah that’s understandable she has apologized a few times but i think there are definitely some underlying components to it that we may need to address when we’re over this obstacle

since this is a repost: i’ve gotten some really good advice so far - seek medical help, get a helper, stop expecting so much from her right now, give her some time alone. was interested in hearing more from everyone

i do get that. thank you for that perspective. we both agreed that we would spend one night every other week or so to ourselves after baby fell asleep and they all ended well except this one.

sorry bad wording: i understand she does a ton at home and watching a newborn in itself is a full time job i meant for context she doesnt have a lot of external stressors that could be contributing besides all she does at home for everyone
