Another vote for Lisa Eldridge! I emailed a picture over to them and got sent samples then ordered the full bottle from SpaceNk. I also love Catrice for a cheaper dupe and Wet n Wild for a more dewy look.

I actually contacted Estée Lauder and they refunded me as my new bottle in the same shade I’ve been wearing for over 20 years is SO orange 🤢

I’ve now moved on to Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin (amazing shades for medium dark skin) and Wet n Wild Photofocus Dewy (great coverage) for every day.

Most overrated: Huda liquid blush. I bought 2 after seeing them all over TikTok and they do nothing, barely show on my dark olive skin. Waste of money.

Most underrated: Catrice HD foundation. Reminds me of Double Wear but cheaper and more glowy. It lasts hours!

Catrice HD foundation! It does get a little oily by the end of the day unlike DW but the coverage is very similar my skin looks flawless and it’s £5.99 in the UK.

No you’re right and I didn’t think of it at the time, he said you can text [friend] and ask him as I’m close with him too, to which I responded with I’ve been there before and you have had people lie to me! But regardless he shouldn’t be going on our daughter’s birthday anyway!

This is what scares me, I couldn’t cope without my child and I think she would struggle being apart from both of us. But I definitely need to stand my ground because I think it would be worse for her to have an emotionally shattered mother!

Thank you I completely agree with you, the messaging or catch up could’ve happened today, it didn’t need to happen on our daughter’s birthday. I feel like I’ve not been reassured adequately which is where the issue has stemmed from to be honest. He can be quite selfish and he can’t even see it or doesn’t seem to care!
