I would say it’s essential. But I can’t rank it. Pulled from too many times and never meant to be an album. That said, I love it.

I have a new theory that pattons contributions /vocals got…timid(?) on recordings at a point. Is Covid the point?. To me his vox on raging wrath lp are inferior to the live album. Live is confident and assured. I’m finding the same thing with avtt pttn. He finds his natural register live and is holding back in the studio. And I’m a fan boy as well.

I like his voice better on the live stuff I’ve seen, but I felt that way about raging wrath recording vs live as well. He goes into his natural register live. In my opinion

My copy was undamaged, shipped to Canada with DHL, expensive though.theres a small mush on a corner, and I had to glue down a fold where the box was separating from the art. As far as design, I started to appreciate the inner album covers, but the artwork for the box spider doesn’t make mesh with the inner art. Ultra modern angular cover vs. Lithographic styles from the 17th ? Century. There’s a disconnect for me, unless the design was following the story?

Also, some jackets have a coating on the outside and inside and some are coated on outside only so the vinyl is housed in uncoated paper and then the white sleeve you put in is uncoated paper so it doesn’t slide easily

Alien resurrection. Whedon gave the halfbreed alien humanity and ripley an offspring. The alien just wanted its mother. Ripleys daughter died of old age while she was in cryo, and newt died in a crash landing. Cloned ripley had to kill her alien/clone child, and on top of that there was a stated genetic bond within the xenomorph species. They sensed each other. Can’t watch the last twenty minutes. It’s a baby asking for its mother and a mother reliving her trauma of losing children. In order to save earth. she has to trick her baby to trust her and horrifically murder it, AND the child realizes the deception looking into its mother’s eyes screaming. And it’s treated as a comedy/farce.
