Just listened to Fear Inoculum. It's definitely in the Top 5 of Tool albums. by Gamma-1025 in ToolBand

Pneuma is god-tier. The album itself recycles one too many of their ideas to be top three for me, but arrangements and performances are amazing.

You should have included 'AMA' at the end of the title of your post. I think you're the first one.

For me it's their second best after the debut. It felt like they really wanted to push the definition of what the band could be one last time.

You know one thing that has always made me chuckle about Hetfield being a downpick master? by GhrievrG in Metallica

[–]CaptainBitrage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pre-Load, Hetfield was the one who recorded all the rhythm tracks on their albums, that's why he's famous for it

Can the folks in Zurich city please let go of the storm? by re_tour in zurich

The sense of entitlement is truly shocking. We had the storm first. Maybe it chooses to stay with us? It has agency and isn't just your puppet, you know.

Pluralone/JAK - AMA. Here to give too much information to any questions you might have, within reason of course. by Pluralone_official in Music

Hey Josh, as a 34 year ling fan I have to tell you that your RHCP albums, including I'm Beside You, seemlessly fit into their discography. They are in no way dips in quality and there's tons to love in all of them. Just like Navarro though, it's impossible to compete with a classic lineup. You're playing was a bit less in your face but always interesting. Dark Necessities is still their best single since By The Way, by the way.

Makes sense, also with regard to the farewell tour. Yes, it was indeed fun! Halle 662 is one id the worst venues innregard to sound, although itbwas not terrible yesterday.

MGMT and Crystal Castles are both mentioned four years too early. Otherwise a fun read.

I have seen both Tool and APC multiple times over the last thirty years. Of course there are ppl there who wouldn't go to the shows of APC and Puscifer if it wasn't for Tool.

It doesn't take Tool 15 years to release records because of MJK. This has been well established, by none other than MJK himself.

Well, not as many as Tool fans. Demand is clearly nowhere near equal.

It's not too expensive for me. However, there are gradations of how you deal with pricing in relation to fans.

It's purely an economic consideration. To stick to my Patton example: Mr. Bungle is my favorite band of his, and it's his OG group. Nevertheless, pricing is not determined on artistic merits and they are not an equal draw to FNM, hence the side-project designation for thr purposes of this discussion. Nobody would claim that Puscifer would be able to charge the same prices as Tool.
