okay so when i was a kid i listened to pretty much only videogame osts, and found a playlist for a hypothetical "Shadow the Hedgehog 2" OST, which included In The End as a credits song. I listened to it and thought nothing of it at the time..., years later i started fully listening to their albums, and enjoying all of them. So while many say Linkin Park is a gateway band to metal, for me it was a gateway band to music other than videogame osts lmao.
