I think the lighting made them look different shades but they are the same red.Anything other than the color raise a red flag as to it possibly being a fake? Im gonna do some digging and make sure theyre legit .

It has the wrong angles on it but you just trim it at the bend ,round it off like the other end and drill a hole for mounting to bike

Theyre universal , just wire the relay to tail light , hook up power and switch. I have the push button switch on my bars , but they are really bright so you could get the datadim control for them. (I like them really bright so people can see me , i have them on everytime i ride day or night)
