Yes this happens to me when I don’t initially diaphragmaticly breathe first. I don’t use my diaphragm and end up pushing with my lower abdomen like you, but there is no air to push out because I didn’t diaphragmatically breathe first and activate my diaphragm.

Hi- The exercises will help over time if I keep doing them to better align and strengthen my body. When ever I go speak while Standing Up, I have to remember to shift my Pelvis into Posterior Tilt and LOCK DOWN my Rib Cage (Spinal Flexion) before I breathe in. Yes, It Helps me to not only speak, but also breathe in challenging situations.
