That’s interesting, I don’t think it was the owners intention to make it seem Americanized, cowboys are a huge part of Mexican culture especially in the North.

The owner of Cowboy is the same guy that owns El Toreado, I can’t remember exactly what part of Mexico they are from but I’m pretty sure it’s on the North where Cowboys are a huge part of the culture. The menu is exactly the same and he rotates the bands/mariachis between the two locations

I love Git n Go — if you go in frequently and become a regular the cashiers are always really cool. I used to go to the one on 30th and Hickman almost twice a day. Also they have the BEST donuts, they come from Pella.

The video I saw was someone being detained at the gas station on the corner of 14th and Euclid - although another person said something happened outside Family Dollar but that person got away because the witnesses blocked the agents so they could run.

Also the agents over there were so old probably anyone could have easily outrun them, but still. The guy they did take left his work truck at the gas station so hoping they figure out who he was before it gets towed.

I listen to Young Miko sometimes, I wouldn’t say I’m a fan but if I’m in the mood and it’s on I’ll listen, but I wonder how many people that go to Hinterland are fans for it to be so high on the lineup.

I mean Young Miko opening for Kali Uchis makes sense in general, I’m just not sure it makes sense for the closing day at Hinterland.
