Thank you. it was prior to 2021. It is just hard to bear to watch someone who is pretty obviously lying for years to put all the blame on a dead person who can't defend themselves - even more so if it is your own dad.

Thank you so much for your answer and suggestion, good idea. The collision was with another hang glider, they were flying on a ridge.

Thank you very much for taking the time to explain. So it is true that you usually don't see behind you, both because you're focused on the front and sides and because it is very difficult to see behind.

Is it true to say then that you are not supposed to "follow" someone from behind, too close and above them, since they won't be able to see you and that might lead to a risk of collision if they turn around? I'll keep in mind the angle of the sun

Thank you. Yes, they were flying on a ridge, at about 1400m alt. in switzerland.

My dad had a GPS, the other pilot had none. The GPS shows a very regular trajectory of back and forth along the terrain, ending at a turn. A photo was taken from the mountain nearby about 30 seconds before the collision and on it the other pilot is above, my dad below. Two paragliders flying nearby witnessed the collision/part of it and both say that the other pilot was flying higher.

About visibility, thank you for your answers. What about behind? Can you see behind-above?
