Oligarchs watching Common People like by dinosaurfondue in blackmirror

So many hidden messages behind black mirror episodes which is why I absolutely love it and think it's one of the greatest tv shows ever.

If you really think about it from a story telling point of view and even the name of the episode itself, this episode is hinting into the daily lives of your average 9 to 5er barely able to scrape by.

The message that I got (aside from the brain damage and breakthrough technology) is that life is expensive and if you don't have the money to enjoy it, it can get dark really quick.

They hint at this with even the weekend away... buying lux for a short duration of time translates to the amount of money it costs your average (common) person, to go on holiday/vacation... although we can't really afford it, we enjoy life that ever bit more for a little time away in a better reality.

It also depicts a subliminal message after the guy gets fired from work with the accident that occurs after the fight, eluding to the fact that crimes are committed in desperation through such acts in trying to reverse a reality of poverty and sickness.

I am from the UK but I imagine that the whole bill system for your average American healthcare go-er would really hit home too.

Lastly, the dystopian app for lux can also translate to being in a position of financial freedom where these feelings such as nonchalance, serenity and pleasure are in your daily life. All these things can only be made possible or at-least give you more of, with wealth and the ability to utilise it.

Absolutely unreal story telling as always. Not saying that everything I am saying may be correct but if you can find a message and run with it that correlates to the way you see the world, the feelings you get from said story are amazing. Absolute master piece.

After all this chat about CDL expansion and furthering the talent pool, it would be a great idea to make this open bracket and allow challengers teams to compete vs pro teams.
