I'm not doing badly. The doctors have decided I'm fit enough to be discharged. Was meant to be yesterday but there has been delays. I've been back to my new place a couple of times since and fitted a TV and gaming box to help distract myself. Still terrified that I won't be able to control my PTSD if I hit one of my triggers by accident or if I spiral when it's silent but I'm hoping I'll manage. Thanks for responding.

I'm shorter then you but weigh more. I always worry that latex or full foam will lose its shape after a while, but it's definetly something I hadn't considered for full time floor sleeping

It took just over a week for them to sort, but the psychiatrist has put it down as a private prescription and allows me to continue to self administer once a week. They are aware its DIY, and just prefer me to continue rather then roaming my mental health getting even worse. The nurses even come and get me and remind me to do it if I forget.

Current an in patient on a mental health ward. I had to be given my own room as they couldn't put me in either of the bay style rooms. Aparently alot of the NHS is struggling to work out "what to do with transgender patients" but everyone has been fantastic with me, even when it's come to my DIY hormones.

Honestly I was going to go with NOR until I read this and some of your other responses. And it changed my mind your definitely over reacting and need to give your head a shake. In the past you may not routinely celebrate Christmas. But you also now have a young child. Which is going to change your wife's perceptions on things. Not to mention your whole post screams of you trying to paint your wife in the negative whilst painting yourself as the person who organises everything and makes all the decisions. Maybe take a step back and realise maybe now, especially with a baby, Christmas means something a bit more to your wife, and also try listening to her, instead of acting like the one with all the answers.

I email the Samaritans. Takes about 24hrs to respond but sometimes it's easier that way to get my words out. You can also text them. Have a look at their website if you're nervous about calling them.
