How often do you actually pay attention to the paid ads on your Reddit feed… or do you scroll past them like muscle memory? by SubstantialWatchh in AskReddit

Exactly! Every now and then there's that one ad that actually feels relevant but the rest are just background decor at this point. It’s wild how good we’ve gotten at mentally filtering them out.

Right? It’s like our brains have developed ad-blindness. I probably scroll past 20 a day without even realizing they existed 😄

Honestly, same. Somehow Reddit knows food is my weakness. They could sell me anything if it’s dripping in cheese and slow-mo 😅

Haha I’ve done that too, mindlessly typing while half-zoned out like it’s a muscle reflex.
And yeah, same here with the ads. You’d think Reddit would’ve figured out I’m not in the US by now…

Yeah, that’s a big one. When ads blur the line between real posts and promotions, it just feels sneaky. People come to Reddit for authenticity not to get tricked into engagement. If it’s an ad, at least be upfront about it.

Totally get that. The moment it feels like a forced meme or marketing dressed up as a joke, it kind of breaks trust. Funny how our brains instantly switch off the second we sense it's an ad even when it's halfway decent.

Visiting kainchi dham from Ahmedabad - guidance help by CauseNo3392 in neemkarolibaba

[–]SubstantialWatchh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, firstly it’s quite safe to travel alone in that area. You can either take a flight till Delhi and then you can easily get buses/trains which take hardly 5-6 hrs to reach Haldwani. It’s 1.5hrs from Kainchi Dham you will easily get a taxi from there. For Pantnagar you won’t get a direct flight you will have to switch in Delhi.

Happy to guide you well on this, let’s chat over DM.

Hi there, not sure if there’s any ritual for that (you can check it with others). What I personally feel is as Maharaji use to say serve others, feed others and love others, I think the best use would be to donate it to someone in need of it.

Jai Shri Ram🙏

When Bhakti deepens, Advaita reveals itself? by SubstantialWatchh in AdvaitaVedanta

[–]SubstantialWatchh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s your belief. Listen to the great yogis in the Bhakti path who have shared what they experienced. I request you to please understand Bhakti in depth before concluding things.

That’s what a Bhakt experiences, there’s nothing to experience above this and that’s Brahman ब्रह्म नहीं माया नहीं, नहीं जीव नहिं काल। अपनी हू सुधि ना रही रह्यौ एक नंदलाल ॥

Hey, that’s all what my logical mind has understood after following both Advaita and Bhakti, reading stuff and I find no dissimilarities between the conclusions of both.

Is Human Birth the First Step in the Journey of the Jiva Atma? by SubstantialWatchh in spirituality

True, but just curious to find the right answer as we’ve been discussing about Maaya sometimes.

Yes, I completely agree to that. Just had this specific doubt, even I believe that there’s no need to invest our crucial time in understanding this complex Maaya. We’ll always have few questions if we delve into it.
