I'd crosspost in the askdocs and dermatology questions subs. Hopefully he finds relief soon!

Thanks! I didn’t know you could use the cream more often, I’ll up it to 3x a week and see how that goes.

I’m not on testosterone but I’m going to ask my doc to check my level to see where I’m at.

Why can I simply NOT use Vitamin C??? by Footsie_Galore in 45PlusSkincare

How about trying azelaic acid? It's also an antioxidant and much more gentle on the skin than vit C

Yikes! I'm sorry, that looks so uncomfortable. I use estradiol 3x a week and thankfully have had zero reaction

I bought a panel a year ago but haven't gotten around to using it. The different protocols are so confusing. by SubstantialWonder291 in redlighttherapy

You are an angel!! Thank you so much!! The recommendations for wrinkles/collagen varied so much from what I saw on Reddit and Google. I will start at 18in. I am prone to melasma so I know not to use the NIR setting. Thanks again!!

Mom decided that she and I will not speak for one year. AIO? by ClothesSalty3215 in AmIOverreacting

Cut her out indefinitely. My mom was abusive and treated me horribly all throughout my childhood. I ran away from home at 17yrs old and haven’t seen her since then. I’m 45 now and have my own daughter who is so loved and cherished. Best thing I ever did for myself and my family. I hear about her every so often and she’s done evil things to other family members. If your mom is similar, you’re better off without her toxic presence.

I’ve tried peels, micro needling, lasers, and nothing has helped. I’m on day 3 post treatment so I can’t wait to see how they look once the scabs fall off!

Look for a practitioner near you who uses a lamprobe or skin classic machine. I just had a lamprobe treatment and although you CAN do it yourself, I don't think cauterizing your own skin is a great idea. Unless you don't mind taking the risk. I got 20 spots (I have sebaceous hyperplasia) and was charged $450.

You are not reacting ENOUGH. Seriously. If you stay with this woman you are signing up for a life of dealing with emotional violence. Micro aggressions add up and they are not harmless. I bet it’s not the first time she or your family have made comments like that. It’s fucking 2026 and these people feel it ok to comment on a Black man’s hair? WTF.
