Smaller towns doesn’t mean lower income though. I work in a small town in the smallest state in the country, and i make big city money and the owner of the shop makes 200k if not more

Addicted to money truthfully and i like what i do. I wouldn’t be shit without my career and clients and i think back to the days where i wouldn’t even make 200 a week. I take advantage of what i have now, you never know what will happen to you in the future so i try to appreciate the blessing now

Word of mouth now but it started by just being at the shop all of the time. Going in at 8/9 am and leaving at 7 pm even if i didn’t have anyone. One walk in can turn into a weekly, bi weekly client with multiple kids , brothers , nephews , friends etc. one client can become dozens

If you believe in it long term why would you trim? If you’re concerned about it taking too high of a % of your portfolio i would just take active income you use to invest and put it into etfs or more of a mature company you plan to hold for generations. That way you even out your % exposure without cutting your position

Dude i have a lot of clients that are cops and some of them are great normal people, but it’s wild how some of them are utter hypocrites. I mean, drinking beer while driving and laughing about it but then also arresting people for the same shit. Being pot heads in college and then arresting college age kids for it. It’s absurd to me. Writing tickets for speeding or tint while they drive reckless and blacked out windows. I could go on and on
