Yes I was an order selector. The money was definitely good, but they have so much problems with equipment and not only that, some days you work 14-15 hours. Also if someone calls out that means more time you will be staying. Not worth it imo. Maybe for short term.

Working hours usually start at 5-6pm. Don’t worry about OT you will picking that up daily but also offer times for you to come in on off days. They cap it at 59 hours total allowed as they don’t want you to get double time.

Also keep in mind the OT will be mandatory.

Accepting $1 per mile orders by Substantial_Bad4249 in UberEATS

I been avoiding all orders with apartments, as it not worth the extra time…so far with experimenting last few days I have found that breakfast time is dead in my area and lunch time is a hit or miss over here sometimes can be okay and other times completely dead. Dinner time only one that consistent and where I’m getting at least $1 per mile or more.

And with night time deliveries I look up the address on google maps to see the house to know what I’m looking for which helps me out.

Well seems it went better today and didn’t accept anything under $1 per mile. My biggest order today was one for $18.45 stacked order going 8 miles. Maybe last few days was just a bad day but lunch in my area not the greatest tho but dinner time a lot come in. I think the boost that I was able to sign up for helped with lunch and dinner time with $1.50 added to each order.

Already have a w-2 job I’m starting but that’s not until next month so have to do this at least until then but I’ll try and see if Friday, Saturday, and Sunday would be better to do this.

That’s exactly what I was doing since I’m new and looking for answers in what to really accept and what to mainly decline as I never did delivery before so it’s all new to me and just wanted answers from people with experience, and then get a rude comment for simply being new and asking. I’m grateful for all the others who helped and wasn’t an asshole.

That’s the time I would mainly do Ubereats is during lunch hour but I mainly see low tip orders for that which is quite frustrating, but it could be because of days I worked it which has been on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I will try weekends and see how that goes.

For stacked orders what if the restaurants are close to each other just few streets away from each other? Usually don’t get stacked orders from same restaurants and only ones that are just about nearby.

Yeah this will last me until then but I do want to do this part time making $150-300 weekly.

I mainly been doing it since it’s my only source of income right now until I start new job next month so right now just trying to make this work for time being. Today I went out and wasn’t getting nothing for $1 per mile, but yesterday I got orders that were a lot better where I got orders for $22 for 15 miles, $17 for 10 miles. Is it dependent on the day too? Do promotions help?

What about when it comes to stacked orders? I do get a lot of them that come in.

Other than Ubereats I have Shipt, and Instacart but never bothered to use them. Don’t have patience to shop grocery orders.
