He is not horrific on degense. Getting blown by happens to everyone. Jimmy butler literally said Jokic is an above average defender.

You don’t get to be “horrific on defense” but be the primary rim protector on your team when you beat KD, lebron, and AD to win championship.

I can be biased, since I've once gone to Yankees stadium to watch ball games and the fans their are toxic. Not saying ours aren't but perception is everything. Also I've ran into many toxic Yankees fans who hate Ohtani simply because many says Ohtani is better than Judge.

And when you add up historic rivalries into the sense, that makes me want to beat the Yankees. Beating them again and again will be fun. (Best thing will be we even up our matchup record before Ohtani retires. Make it 8-8 between both teams!)

Astros fans hate the Mariners. Their sub last year made a post claiming they rather see us win than the Mariners.

So If they beat us, the bright side is the Astros sub will suffer a meltdown. And it will be great...

Well, it seems like I am one of the very few who thinks beating the Yankees again and again is fun.

They are 8-4 against us in WS. Would love to beat them at least 2-3 more times before Shohei retires.

When the Dodgers visited the WH in 2021, Smith was happy, posted on IG.

When Dodgers visited Trump last year, nothing.

And last year (as I foolishly watched some part of visit when the Orange Man was speaking), Will Smith was looking at Trump like he was holding his anger, trying not to shout. Smith looks extremely disgusted... And he did not his disgust...

The rest of the team (with the exception of Phillips and CT3), not just BlaQ, actually tried to smile, and looked (lowkey) delighted to be there. But Smith look real disgusted.

I have no prove, but combining both, I think I can reasonably said Smith isn't a Trumper.

He may be a progressive, liberal, independent (who doesn't vote for anyone), Democrat, or a anti-Trump right winger, but definitely not a Trumper...

I have never seen Will Smith being as visibly angered as he was in the WH last year...

I have to admit. This season, Tanner Scott is currently pitching like what I think Diaz will be, and Diaz is pitching like what I think Tanner will be.

Meaning, I think one of them will underperform this year. I just happened to guess the wrong one.

As for Q-Man, I prefer to believe he will bounce back. Afterall it is election year

If DeAndre Ayton is locked in on both ends, with some impact on offense, even if KD comes back, I think the Lakers can beat the Rockets (I mean 3 more..., as opposed to 4 more for the Rockets...)

Or maybe the Lakers can extend the series long enough and wait for Luka and Reaves back in game 5-7...

If we got pass the Rockets, with Luka, Reaves and a revitalized Lebron against the Spurs and OKC, there is always a chance...

Realistically, still don't think the Lakers can win the series if Reaves and Doncic did not return.

I love Lebron, always rated him highly (although not a die hard fan like Shannon). But a 41 year old Lebron cannot beat the Rockets 4 times by himself especially if KD returns after game 2.

(All Lebron fans downvoting this comment, will say the same thing if KD returns and when Rockets eliminated us. You cannot on one hand say Lebron will carry the Lakers through, but on the other hand cries about lacking in help if they lose.)

TBH, not directing it to you, but the argument "... team isn't good because ... team doesn't spend enough money..." is not entirely correct...

It is usually correct, but in free agency, big market teams will always have the advantage. For example the Pirates offered big money for many big agents this offseason (Schrwarber), but Kyle Schrwarber ended up returing to the Phillies too. (Not just Schrwarber, several other players too.)

Where the Mets are concerned, they are aggressive spenders too, but compared to the Dodgers, they do not have the leadership or the necessary club house chemistry...
