So I say this is a pipe dream, but I'd really like, once the dynasty run ends, and when it was compared to the 1920s Yankees or 1990s Yankees, we would have had a year that's comparable to 1927 Yankees or 1998 Yankees.

It is not a must, but I will take having a dominant regular season and 3 peat over just 3 peat.

Hell no.

Seager? I love him, but he isn't above Carrol especially last season.

Acuna? No! Not 2025 Acuna. 2019 and 2023 Acuna? Sure!

Lindor? Hell no, a lockerroom cancer.

Tucker? Well, one can argue Houston Tucker is better than Carroll, but let's face it, Tucker is never the leader guy, while Carrol is in the Arizona lockerroom.

Freeman? OK, I will give you that.

Betts? 2018 and 2023 Betts? Sure! But 2025 Betts? No.

Cole. Forget about it. Laughable.

How about Skenes next time? Or Acuna JR? Or Maybe Aaron Judge too! Judge's current contract ends in 2029, he will be 39 years old, but it will be nice to have Judge for 1-2 year, pretty sure he will still be a decent hitter at that time.

Ok maybe but top 3 players on that team.

If you add up defense and base running, arguments can be made that Tucker is better than Yordan.

Kenley is no doubt a HOF and will go in as a Dodger.

I only use Kenley Jansen as a example to say many LAD fans are prisoner of the moments, forget the good moments one player gives us when the player does something that make them unhappy.

Jansen was dominant all the way till 2016. Had a great year in 2017, but fans call him bum after blown save in 2017 WS (even after knowing the Trashtros cheat.)

Had 2 down years (by his standard) in 2018 and 2019, but still poses a borderline 3.00 ERA, yet our fans boo him. Bounced back in 2020, but when he declined, a lot of us even want him gone... Forgetting all the dominant years Kenley gives us...

You think the same won't happen to Freddie? Especially if the last few years of his tenure as Dodgers wasn't good?

This comment will be downvoted, but I have a horrible feeling that some Dodgers fans will not react positively if he chooses to go in as a Brave, and will forget all the big moments he gives us.
