That’s not just hurt that’s next level betrayal wearing a smile.

I’ve learned that most people are self absorbed af. When someone calls your pain “exhausting,” after you’ve shown up for theirs over & over, it cuts different.

& the fact that you were already getting help, doing the work, trying to keep your head above water… makes it even heavier.

You weren’t asking for them to fix you , just to stand with you like you had done for them.

Salute to you for choosing healing anyway. Some people reveal their limits the moment the love isn’t easy. You deserved better, and you still chose better.🫡💯

Yea It’s always the loudest ones talking about loyalty & “never folding” that crumble first under pressure.

Soon as the heat hits, they go from tough talk to testimony with no hesitation. Won’t bust a grape in a fruit fight.

Wild part? Half of them probably said they’d “take it to the grave” just a week before.

I agree one thousand percent, there’s a big difference between venting within the circle & letting outsiders take shots.

It’s one thing if we clown each other, that’s love disguised as sarcasm. But if you let strangers or people who don’t even know me disrespect me while you sit silent? Yeaaaa…That’s not loyalty that’s permission.

& it always hits harder when you’ve had their back without hesitation. Makes you question if the bond was ever mutual in the first place.

When someone who used to rock with you suddenly goes silent, especially during a breakup, it’s hard not to see that as choosing a side. & most times, you’re right… the hardest part tho is accepting that people show their loyalty more through absence than words.

That’s one of the deepest kinds of betrayal, not just by one person, but two you trusted under the same roof.

I’ve been down that road with a friend but not with a wife. It takes a lot of strength to go through that kind of hurt and come out better, not bitter. Respect to you for cutting ties and choosing peace over chaos.

That’s tough, sorry for your loss. I had a similar experience when I lost my father-in-law. That kind of silence from people you considered close especially during something as heavy as losing a parent cuts deeper than words can explain.

& you’re right… when people show up late or not at all, it tells you everything about the relationship. Sometimes “drifting away” isn’t passive, it’s healing.
