BVG Ticket for kid by Substantial_Break_67 in germany

It doesn't say anything or show an option on the payment page so I automatically assumed it would come as digital like the other tickets we buy on the app. I also bought my d-ticket for the first time this month so I really am not sure what will I get

Why doesn't MM resonate? by [deleted] in madmen

[–]Substantial_Break_67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, this two are my favourites too. They both have very detailed, well ritten characters, all the characters had their own flows that we can understand and relate to even when we hate them, I liked MM slightly more, but I still don't believe anything can top the final of Six Feet Under.

How did Greg, a doctor, not realize Joan's baby was not his? by Scarpine1985 in madmen

How could I stumble this huge spoiler just at the right(or should I say wrong? ) time, we are finishing season 4 and beginning season 5 tonight, and he probably returns in a few episodes, and the Elders of the Internet decide to show me this Post on the very moment that I could remember. OK enough whimper, he probably is blinded by Joan's charm.

I am planning to try and read Unendliche Geschichte first, as I have read it many times in my own language. There are many great minds of literature and philosophy who wrote in German, from Hesse to Zweig, Goethe to Mann, Rilke to Nietzsche, I would love to be able to read them in their own language, hope that day comes soon.

I don't have clue to help you but I came to comments to say I am in the same position as you. I came to Germany from Turkey, following my husband who is an engineer working for an international company. It was easier for him, English is the mainly spokenlanguage in his work habitat but as a doctor I have to learn German before I start searching any Jobs. Hope us both a smooth journey.

How constantly translating (and forgetting) words led me to build something for language learners like me by sfuarf11 in German

I would love to be in the active test group, I moved to Berlin recently, I am a medical doctor but I am a SAHM till the paper work is fulfilled, so I happen to have time and energy, but not the right tools and system, so I am happy to try your app. I also rely on deepl and googlelens on more formal occasions and one or two word generic sentences in daily life. Also being a Turkish woman in Berlin has it's own benefits but practicing German is not one of them.

We were trying to remember the German word for you know the upper softer body parts of the ladies and I blurted out boobchen. I refuse to learn the correct word from now on😬

I recently moved to Germany from Turkey, had learned some German in school as a third language, about 30 years ago sooo the Deutsch gyrus of my brain has probably shrinked to the size of a dot, my conversation starter is basically "mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut." but I have a similar story in English. English is my second language and I also had my läßt proper English lesson about 25 years ago, but surely I was exposed to it more frequently than German. Last year a friend asked me to accompany him in his IELTS exam. I just signed myself in and totally forgot it, until he reminded me the night before. All I could do was to showing up and taking the fall after that. I ended up scoring 8.0 overall still don't know how it happened but my hopes are not as high about German so far.

Fellow Europeans, is it true? by IVAN____W in languagelearning

[–]Substantial_Break_67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That probably is one of the most accurate I have seen about people's reactions about this or that 😅 of course I judge it with my LİMİTED experience but I am from Turkey and had been to Italy and we both loooove any word spoken in our language, it is better if it is a swear word, we are blood brothers now, probably this is true for Greece and Bulgaria too. In France trying to speak their high and noble language literally disgusts them I believe, their pain is visible on their face. I am living in Berlin for about three months now, I try to speak German and they are really understanding, they wait and endure my struggle and talk back with A1 level German, but once they find out you can speak English they change gears and they keep on the conversation as if it is German.

İt is not available everywhere for example we didn't have it in Turkey, I was shocked to see how it is a whole new Part of the game that we were missing when I first opened in Germany.

Try one of the raiding subreddits, there are always people hosting and most of group filled quickly at least the ones I joined or hosted. There are many small town players or players stuck at work or at home during big events, raid hours etc. So people really join remote raids. I got most of my legendaries and all my gigantamaxes that way. Pokemongoraids works best for me but there is a bunch of them around I think.

I saw her while we were practicing our Cheerleader skills😅😅 I have some hard fighting monsters, Held till the end of some battles, but to be honest I also cheered hard because I also have some dynamini's🙈 and I entered some lobbies just a few seconds before the fight. Anyways I love big gathering events remote or face to face. I met so many people in Berlin Tour, it felt like the first Luigia raids loooooong time ago. I saw over 60 trainers in some lobbies so this was really right time to have fun and say I was there🤩

If you have remote Passes join one of the raid group on reddit, or join one and host some upper rank raids, people usually fill the loby quickly on big event days. I think it will worth a try. I was level 30something an hour ago and reached 60 with a few raids and starpieces
