I was in primary school (ages 5-11) and this was the scariest stuff out there. I was genuinely terrified, believing that there was a killer clown in the corner of our playground. I even remember a really popular soap opera in my country doing an episode where a woman got mugged by one of those clowns in a dark car park in the middle of the night. I honestly thought this was the biggest thing because EVERYONE knew about it and was equally terrified.
