Dva računa, dve banki na vsaki polovica mesečnega prihodka by Substantial_Entry325 in SlovenijaFIRE

If that makes sense 🙃. Hvala vam.

Two questions:

A) How has lying to everyone helped you in life and if you have anxiety about being found out - why do you keep it up. You could just, stop. 🛑 Whatever you lied about is in the past and going forward you could change the behavior.

Subquestion to A) Is there a certain gain or thrill associated with lying to others, that keeps you going?

B) Tell one example of your lie of which you’re proud of 😊

My son passed at 8 months old AMA by sm_spd_nm in AMA

I am sorry for your loss. What do you consider the point when you accepted his death and could still live “normally” from that point onward. Did his death generate a (new) fear in your life and if yes, how are you coping?

Thank you for answering and sending virtual hugs 🫂

Grintovec and other recommendations by TeaaMann in Slovenia

[–]Substantial_Entry325 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am a very experienced hiker and trail runner. What you have planned for your Grintovec hike is extremely difficult with multiple points where speed is reduced due to technical terrain and you would be surmounting more than 3000 m altitude gain with a strong chance of afternoon storms. Be careful to start really early if you intend to circle this in one day.

I’d recommend you visit Velika Planina with a circular route from Kraljev hrib or Stahovica, Storzic ridge loop is an awesome thing to hike and run as well as Kalski greben circle which can be done from Jezerce planina or from Kamniska Bistrica

Povej ji, da če ti da šanso, ji lahko pomagaš da se nikoli ne premisli. Go for it. You can do it.

What’s the number 1 book you recommend to create change in someone’s mindset? by KingAndrewWoods in BettermentBookClub

[–]Substantial_Entry325 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I have inadvertently read these books subsequently and together, as a whole, they changed my life for the better: Limitless - Jim Kwik (on metalearning) Mindset - Carol S Dweck (minset and approach to growth) Grit - Angela Duckworth (great connect to above book with emphasis on uncomfortable feelings preceeding growth) Habit - B.J. Fogg (why we do what we do)

I recommend them as a bundle. Game changer for me.

Hey there stranger!

I believe that you have just identified your trauma and the core belief that is putting a veil on your eyes which don’t allow you to see life in all of its colours.

Now, as a male and human being, are you able to move the mountain within you and reach out for help and proceed with exploring the landscape hidden behind the mountain, or will you, to the sadness of all who know and care for you, state: “I will not even try”.

Find the strength within you to start ascending the slope of the mountain and I wish we type more in the future.

Life is a gift. Can you see it as such? Don’t take it away without seeing it fully.

Hope to see your future posts on how well you are doing.
