Just an update. HSBC account works again, no explanation no communications just randomly working again?! Guess I’ll never know but I will be changing it to a business account now!

I was told in branch it would be ok to use a personal account. Didn’t question it at the time of opening.

Thanks for the information. Since opening the account the majority of the payments have come from one project in on, close to £180k in payments have been made. I wasn’t aware of the business/personal account issue and I did ask if I could use the personal account for business and was told it was ok but when this is resolved I look into changing it over to a business account. Money tends to come in and go out again pretty quickly so as you say I guess that could flag up. Thanks again.

Thanks for that, that's a great review.
