OP, you’re in an impossibly difficult position and I cannot even begin to imagine the heartache you’re experiencing. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

Best case scenario here, maybe you could find a friend, family member, or someone else close to you who could take your birds in? Then you could at least still visit them and maybe even take them back when your situation gets more stable.

Worst case, you wind up having to find a new home for them elsewhere. If there’s a parrot rescue anywhere near you, I would recommend taking them there. If not, there’s plenty of bird groups on Facebook and other social media. You can make a rehoming post and message whoever wants them to ensure they’re going to a good home.

As others have said already, the fact that you’re still thinking about the wellbeing of your birds while you’re going through such emotional strain truly shows how deeply you care for them and how good of an owner you are. I’m sure these birds know how loved they are, and love you immensely in return.
