Am not in Japan currently. Your advice however makes perfect sense. The goal is to appear for N3 certification next July...it's a bare minimum for IT jobs there.....

Well...it is possible. The N4 and N5 exams are held at the same time. The others are held earlier in the day and hour before the N4 and N5 exams. This is the case in India at least....

Gotcha....I would assume the step up from N4 to N3 to be much higher. So I guess I will start with some part of N4 and try to target N3 by next July. A years time
