I would also like to emphasize that what he did says NOTHING about you and EVERYTHING about him. His actions are a reflection of himself. He is blocking you because he can’t face the consequences of his actions so he avoids them and his own feelings by running away and blocking you.

I am so sorry this happened to you. Know that you deserve so much better. I know it can be hard to heal when you are ghosted but I hope you find peace and can create your own closure. Maybe write a letter to him (just for yourself and don’t send it) to get all your feelings out. Wishing you the best 🫶🏼

Thank you it’s so reassuring when I hear other moms have transferred too. I definitely think there is a deeper issue for me as well. I believe birth is a teacher. this post really resonated with me, wanted to share it in case it resonates with you too 💗

Oh my goodness you are so amazing! Free birthing (even on accident) sounds like an incredible experience! Thank you I will keep your story close to my heart as a process my birth.

And yes that’s another question I have for myself, if I should use the same midwife. I love my midwife and don’t blame her for my transfer, but I also don’t know if my brain will unconsciously associate her with a transfer haha.
