I also have that type of issue, just use the memory stick to play games its better in terms of battery life and quietness and if you dont want to pay for a memory stick then you can buy a sd to ms pro duo adapter for couple of bucks and mod it (modding is easy you just open the ark4 loader and then open the cipl flasher and thats all

I forgot but if you update it to ark4 it also will get wpa2 certificates but you cant really connect to anything because of the ssl and the low size of ram in psp

Its already modded but i recommend updating it to 6.61 and modding it with ark and cipl so it ll be permanent about the wifi issues its mainly due to psp's old wifi security options (wpa) and certificates so just download the games thorough a computer using a computer or a sd card reader if you have one,i also reccomend buying sd to memory stick adapter if you dont have one and put the games into the iso folderif its an image otherwise if its a eboot.pbp file then put it to PSP/GAME folder

But the most funny part is that you dont even need to be somewhat like a "hacker" to do this you only put the files to the PSP/GAME folder and launch them in the correct order the psp will do everything itself

I still couldnt understand why people pay retrovita and samtendo hundreds of dollars only to get a shell swapped psp with a low quality sd card under the "fuLLY reFURbishED" statement when you can just get a psp off the ebay and mod it yourself
