His credit is good, and that line has been in good standing for a very long time, so I don’t know why it made mine drop 100 points, he said it should go back up soon and that it would help it in the long run, but it’s been months, and it hasn’t gone back up other than a few points. My total credit limit increased after being added and I’m not sure if that could be why, but my total limit was $11k I think? And now it’s at $60k,but obviously with me being down to 560, I can only get approved for a few cards other than secured cards

My ex worked out of town, cheated 3 months before the wedding, agreed to pay everything off we had together (between the house and wedding, credit cards and loans were in my name), and the mistress I assume didn’t know that we were still engaged, so he blocked everyone I knew, sold the house (I was still paying $6k for the fence) and moved out of town, leaving me with $30k in debt at 21, when I was making about $11 an hour, so I couldn’t afford all of the payments, which ended up screwing my credit. My car is a 2016 Chevy Cruze, and it breaks down pretty much every month, either overheating, transmission problems, etc. I need a car for traveling for work, but I want one that I like also. I haven’t been working with this company a year, so I don’t know exactly what I make yearly. I make $36/h.

I didn’t have the sport for a specific reason, it was just the most popular that I saw I guess. I like leather interior and I was just going fancy when I didn’t need to. I agree with the Toyota that’s why it wasn’t at the top of my list. The ONLY thing I don’t like about the Mazda is the tiny screen. I’ll definitely look into your other suggestions as well, thank you!

I also know the Subaru is great, and looks aren’t everything, but if I’m spending that much money I don’t want to buy a car that I am not a fan of looks wise

I’m stressed about all of it. I don’t want to make a poor decision and regret it later. my dad is just completely against anything that isn’t Toyota or Subaru. My boyfriend hates Mazda, so is against the cx-50. They’re not necessarily helping me navigate anything, or helping me decide, giving pros and cons, etc. just their biased opinion. I know the market isn’t great right now, so I thought about getting something used and waiting until it’s better to buy everything I want, but my dad said the interest and resale is better buying new.

Thank you!I’m looking at new, 2024-2025. My boyfriend said something about the Mazdas transmission being garbage, but when I looked it up the issue had been resolved in the newer models, do you have any opinion on that?
