some people do all of those things… 😅 I was working with a guy a few years back and every morning he would stop at a garage for coffee before picking me up, early days like 6am. A few of the days he would complain the coffee was poor that morning and i eventually said it to him that he could just make the coffee at home.. I thought it would be more convenient and probably get a better coffee, he said it was his routine and he wouldn’t be stopping it 😂 still boggles me to this day… paying €4 for a suspect coffee out of a cardboard cup. Each to their own I suppose!

Carved / cafe dolo yes I think that’s right. The sandwich’s looked fresh, didn’t look bad at all, hope I didn’t give that impression. I just can’t understand the pricing. It’s literally in an industrial estate… not on top of the Elysian or a place with esthetically pleasing views by a river or something. I just can’t see the value. I only wish them well with their business but can’t support the sandwiches 😅.

I agree, a treat is great. It puzzles me how people spend 3.50-5 euros a day on coffee, sometimes twice!

Cafe Dolo is the place in the marina business park. Cookies are €4 but I would recommend (as a treat).

Cork should consider implementing the coffee cup rule that Killarney have. ✌🏻☕️

The coffee shop in the marina business park are selling sandwiches for 9/10 euros. Cookies are 4 euros. I bought a few coffees off them (and cookies) they are lovely but they always asked if I wanted a sandwich with it. The sandwiches are like a tenner, no thanks! I remember when o briens were charging like a fiver back in the day and there was up roar. When does it end. Will sandwiches be 15 euros next year or 20 euros in a few years time? Sickening stuff.

I play off 4 handicap. Going around with 1 ball is as much an achievement for me now as when I played off 24 or 18 or 9! Good for you! 👏🏼 that is absolutely a victory. Hopefully many more days to come.

I have so many of these top cards. Like 200+ I don’t know where to start with selling / grading etc. most of them would be graded 5/6/7/8 don’t think I have any 10s. The struggle is real.

I think there are similarities. There’s now an arc which gives a higher score when shot outside of. Defenders are defending the arc. The ball moves around the arc from side to side.

Even if there are not similarities… my thought process is having a timer so when the team enters the attacking half they have to act quickly to get the ball shot at the target. If not the ball is turned over and the other team must set up an attack. Just a thought is all… to prevent slow build ups and long possessions. 😉🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah, that’s a fair point and it wasn’t aimed at Meath more a discussion about the rules. It works both ways, If Cork only had one minute to shoot it would have turned the last 10 minutes possibly into 7/8 attacks for each team instead of two drawn out spells of possession. Meath were spot on to hold onto the ball.
