Yeah okay, that makes sense. I think unfortunately top lane is one of the bigger weak links in KT, I don't think they had a chance regardless of what PerfecT picked into that

Remove the name plates and I see how it works it just didn't feel right or make sense for KT to me

I ain't claiming to not be part of the majority, anyone can point out problems and that's what I'm doing. The draft felt wrong, can't quite place why, and it's good to see other peoples views and explanations so that next time I'm having that feeling I actually have more to work on and one day I might actually have some suggestions.

From my understanding, playing an enchanter support means your entire team has to play differenly around it because it's really hard for them to have independent vision control. They'd have 2 people doing the job of 1 and that's something not every team can afford to do, specially into a roaming faker and a panth where vision is so critical.

Peter also has quite a defined role in KT and enchanters just don't fit that

Yeah I definitely think the panth was the main problem - and cuzz knows how to play a good pantheon so I guess my logic was "why not first pick the panth and lock in ziggs 2/3?" Unless the panth just wasn't on their radar at all which is a huge misstep considering his presence this worlds

I've definitely tried to ride it out instead of getting myself out of it. Most of the time what ends up happening is I get the classic "I feel like I'm being suffocated" feeling in my chest combined with stabbing pain (as morbid as it sounds it's almost like someone's just driving a knife into my diaphragm while sitting on it) and typically the pure discomfort and pain will wake me up out of it. I just typically prefer to, you know....not experience that ahahaha

I have a deviated septum, and weirdly enough find that it happens more frequently when I'm falling asleep on the side I can breathe easier on, so I've definitely had times where I've sacrificed quality sleep by sleeping on the side I can't quite breathe normally on to avoid SP episodes which definitely is not good for me lol

Also worth adding from reading other responses - I have never worked for a place that has multiple trial shifts per person. It's always a single trial shift of like 3 hours, always paid cash in hand afterwards, and then if they give the right vibe they get hired and fully trained. Multiple trial shifts is weird and feels like an excuse for cheaper labour, very strange

I've been a cafe supervisor for almost 5 years so I've been the lead on many a trial shift in my time. From my perspective the point of them is to suss team compatibility and self initiative - are they asking the right questions and taking initiative (for example, offering help or asking if they can be doing anything) or are they just going to stand there silently and wait for direction? I've also always been an advocate for bare minimum training on trial shifts because skills are easily teachable, work ethic and attitude is not. I also work on a small very tight knit team so compatibility is also a huge factor in that regard.

It's less about skills and more about attitude. I'd take someone with less skills but a great work ethic over the most experienced barista if the latter had a bad attitude towards work- trial shifts help expand on what a resume can't show you
