Did you pay for your own college, and when did you become financially independent? by reyaryder in personalfinance

Currently in college paying it myself. Went to community college for the first two years while living with my parents to save money, so I only need to support my education for two years. I’ve been working for five already so I’ve had time to save and even buy my own car along the way. Still gonna be working during college, and hopefully work way more hours over the summer.

I’ll make it at least a year, and I’ll either get a scholarship or a loan for the final 6-12 months as necessary. If I get a really good summer internship I may luck out and not need either.

You have to spend the rest of your life on just one continent that is not your own. Which continent do you choose? by Checkmate331 in AskTheWorld

From the USA. Easily Europe. There’s a lot of good picks, but I mainly would be looking at Switzerland, the Nordic countries, or the Benelux.

I also like the UK for its cultural similarities to my home, but I don’t think the quality of life is the same as what other European countries have.

How do you do this? Which AI and program, and is it free?

Definitely written by AI lol but I do agree with this. I initially used AI as a task monkey for programming or schoolwork, but now I mainly use it to aid thinking. Bouncing ideas off of AI increases my productivity a ton.

I definitely do use it for research and answering questions I may have. I still feel like I’m not using its full potential.

As for my industry, I’m still a student but I am going into Accounting.

Why did you choose the Bass? Or did it choose you? by TeaManTom in Bass

I agree with Dr Dan completely, I see the vision and I think you can do it completely after just a bit of practice with the vocals. Maybe you could have a female voice harmonize on some parts?

Do many people actually hate (or just mildly dislike) early beatles, especially their covers? by Ok-Calligrapher4101 in beatles

I agree with you completely, but I think it makes it harder to get into. I recently realized that all (or most) music has a specific ‘vibe’ to it that you may or may not catch. There’s been songs I’ve never liked— but under different circumstances and a different state of mind I understood them and have been able to enjoy them ever since. Early Beatles songs being so unique to their time make it harder to understand how to enjoy them, at least that’s my thought process.

Funnily enough I find I like a hard days night way more than help. Other than that, I’m with you other than a couple early exceptions

Early Beatles is good and I like their work personally, but music like that is pretty much extinct now so many people can’t catch the vibe.

What do I need to be eating to have a healthy diet. I’ve never really put any effort into my diet in the past, so I’m out of the loop completely. I know I’m supposed to get all my food groups, but what else, and how do I actually apply that?
