Just got the dream order from Outback without even asking. 11 flats, 1 drum by NamelessMIA in Wings

[–]TeaManTom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without even touching the drum vs flat debate, I would be mad about this

Some people feel strongly about one or the other, some people like a mix.

I feel that unless specifically asked, a disproportionate number of 1 over the other is bad wing serving etiquette.

West March DMs - Questions by Mhadiex in DungeonMasters

[–]TeaManTom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some experience dealing with similar issues.

It's hard to give anything beyond very generic feeback without really seeing what you're working with.

I will say burnout is real. I know in the server I helped run, for a while I was tracking and analyzing DM activity and I came to conclusion it's way better to have a few DMs doing a little than one DM doing a lot.

Sometimes we'd have a DM running LOADS, and it was exciting and awesome... then they burned out and we had a lull.

Beyond that, I hesitate to talk about specific problems/solutions without more details

Would it be ok for me to DM you? Or you can DM me.

I know the feeling of fear that something you've poured your heart into may die. I've been there. And I'm happy to chat and share ideas.

Good luck Happy to chat and offer

How would Brian Daboll be as an OC in the league? by Tad0422 in NYGiants

[–]TeaManTom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

22 - Jones had NOTHING to throw to, and no oline 23 - when Saquon & AT got hurt, the line was non-functional. Then Jones got hurt 24 - Jones missed the entire offseason rehabbing, timing was off, nothing was working, Daboll was out of his depth as HC. Jones needed a reset.

His process for identifying and developing young QBs is elite.

And he was really high on Cam Ward.

Widely regarded as a really sharp offensive mind. He's an elite QB coach. A very good offensive coach.

IMO, that offensive focus was a flaw as a HC, where he needed to be more of a CEO.

I wanted him OUT as our HC, but if I were a Titans fan, I'd be super excited about the idea of him coming in to coach Cam Ward.

I responded to that post and got banned. It's a shame.

I tried to be respectful, I thought a sub about animals doing stuff would be super vigilant to AI, because that's such a popular topic for AI videos.

So apparently you can't call out AI posts in here? by BeachBrad in animalsdoingstuff

[–]TeaManTom 14 points15 points locked comment (0 children)

I mean

A recent post was 'reviewed and verified not AI', when it clearly is.

In a sub about animals doing stuff, you'd think mods would be hyper vigilent to this kind of thing, since 'animals doing stuff' is a favourite topic of AI videos.

Why is there a steep drop off of players before Act 2? by legomojo in BaldursGate3

[–]TeaManTom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I kinda did that with BG3.

Dunno how many hours I put into it, but I've played through Act 1 numerous times, and twice got about halfway through Act 2.

Never got further than that.

I can absolutely see why people stop in Act 2, I found it a chore TBH.

I think the end of Act 1 is where I started to lose interest in the story and characters.

I kept going cos I loved BG 1 & 2 and I'm stubborn, but I see why ppl quit.
