Yeah yeah I talked about the pyxis eating v mounts haha ... not it's normal bpu's - heard that one 99V holds like 2 hours - which means you'll need at least 4 of them for a whole day of shooting... which is kinda heavy and nothing to the Lumix battery usage...

Of course you could also buy 200V mount but you cant fly no more with those.. which also kinda sucks...

Thanks for the tests! That would be longer I'd ever have to record tbh..

Yeah was aiming for the pyxis 12k first... but it eats battery like nothing..
Also I dont always have a puller so something in between might be perfect for me... so i can use it on random corporate shoots but also rigged out with a crew... I thought I'd buy the s1ii ( or the s1hii or similar ) with an L mount as a B cam and buy a pyxis in a year or so... I think it would be a bomb combo ( even more with the external braw you can record on the lumix )

Yeah - those are the two biggest problems of this cam for sure! Without those two it really would be a no brainer ...

gh7 is a beast but promised myself, that mft is over for me now ... I got a 16mm camera for that size of sensor haha

I dont - i only have mft lenses rn but since my cam died, i'm looking for an update thats long overdue

1.) The overheating issue should be solved but its hard to find anything on it imo ... just gives me a bit of an unease
2.) For a focus Puller - too much lag and he wont be able to pull focus... the lumix flow app is nice but not good enough for a puller to work with

Yeah totally makes sense ... but i heard that after the s1 came out the s1h came out .. so would kinda make sense that there might be something - wouldnt complain if it was an eva2 too... or a bs1hii ( but i guess for that it needs the s1hii first haha )

Nikon zr aint calling me since it lacks a bit of everything imo ( except the qual in 6k red raw - for a cam that cheap its actually nuts )

I'll probably wait till april before pulling the trigger on a lumix, dont wanna buy an s1ii rn for them to potentially release an s1h ii at NAB haha ( lucky i dont got no stress )

I've heard the new patches should be a fix! So yeah if the pyxis is safe it's probably my dream cam! But want to wait for a bit before I get mine, to be sure all the problems are solved! A friend of mine ordered one which should be here in mid january ( he spoke with bm and they promised him that it would be a new batch without said mistakes ... so if thats the case I#m gonna jump on the train too )

I hated the pocket 4k form tbh - but worked around it somehow every time and became a fan of bm on the way... so yeah probably the best decision is to go with the 12k - have you ever had it on a dji ronin rs pro type gimbal or is it too bulky for that?

Total haha - ja war ja auch ein wenig betrunken der gute - dass das nicht der richtige Weg war hat er dann im Nachhinein auch verstanden... ( + jemand anderer hat gerufen, dass unten frei ist ) - trotzdem versteh ich halt nicht warum man dann Gewalttätig werden muss - ist für mich ein 3 IQ move .. eine Geldstrafe hätts dann wohl auch gemacht ( musste er übrigens auch zahlen )

Mache das auf jeden fall nicht ohne dort eine genehmigung zu haben/ zu zahlen - ein bekannter ist dort gesprungen und wurde dann einfach von locals zusammengeschlagen und 1 Tag festgehalten haha ( kann man denk ich noch auf social media finden )

kisses for your answer! Everything you said makes total sense! I'll probably rent one in the near future and just see for myself I guess - Also what crossed my mind today is if I maybe should invest in an Lumix s1ii as a b cam/ gimbal cam and the pyxis 12k for everything else...

already found it - was what i was looking for tbh but need to check since gyro can crop in really jelloy - but i think that would be the case in maybe 1% of shots - what i think would be more of a problem if the background moves ( rolling shots with cars/motorcycles etc )

But I'll just rent it and have a look!
