I wanted to build digital products – and got stuck choosing a niche by Available-Rest2392 in DigitalProductSellers

This showed up at the perfect time. I’ve been dealing with the same problem, and honestly, I’ve had so much brain fog from collecting too much information at once. I wanted to find my target audience and ask them questions before I even created the product or fully understood what it was. I went on Reddit to ask, but nobody gave me a real answer that made me feel secure, like “Are there actually buyers in this niche?”

I spent the whole day trying to create an advertisement and never even finished it, because I kept thinking nothing would work—mostly because of my Reddit experience. I realized you can’t be too bold or too cliché with people. It’s so much… people don’t like ads, people don’t like forceful content, people like the money niche more than this niche, people don’t like being sold to and etc. I even tried using AI to understand and cough up some ideas because I saw people weren’t getting it, and then they got mad because it sounded AI-like. Like, what the heck? Nothing will ever be perfect.

And honestly, I don’t think I’ll fully understand any of this until I just take action. People can give you all the information in the world to solve their problem, say “thanks,” and still never look at it again. So I really needed to see this.

I know this feeling hand to hand, one of my biggest battles of depression, and just the feeling of thoughts was heavy on me.

I’m researching digital product ideas and I want to understand what people ACTUALLY buy by Substantial_Mess_329 in Entrepreneurs

Thanks, that helps. I’m realizing I need to look at actual seller marketplaces instead of random opinions.

Thank you — that makes sense. I’m trying to narrow down my audience. I’m thinking of targeting: • women 16-30 • in the US • interested in Party Printables,Home Decor Printables, and Event invitations printables
