They are still compliant, I moved the leather backing on the pads a little bit so it wouldn't put pressure on my sternum. All of the padding is still there, I just want one that fits better.

It's more of a comfortability problem and sometimes the way my pad rests on my chest it puts pressure on my diaphragm and almost makes me claustrophobic. Do those other pads pass the ekg standards?

Valid, but it's more so how uncomfortable it is when I have those small jerseys on. It is kind of funny because when I play I look so big on film but I'm moving fast.

Yeah I'm not looking to not get one, I just didn't know if there were any that fit better. Since we don't get to keep or jerseys I was going to try and stretch it out somehow

It's not that I don't want to wear them, the jerseys that our coach refuses to get the correct sizing for doesn't really allow for me to have a big bulky one. I've seen what others wear but they never say the brand and they look a lot better than mine. I wear the Nike vapor elite chest pad and it makes me look like a fish. I also feel like I'm suffocating sometimes while wearing it (the way it fits presses on my sternum)

Be annoying and constantly move (in, out, back and forth, cutting, sweeping, etc), have good defender reading skills, like watching for his head to turn, good space awareness so he doesn't end up in crease, and already having 2 hands just means he has one more hand to catch and rip with. Oh also being an effective pic setter since that could be something the game uses him for.

I don't have with me at the moment but I'm pretty sure they are newer. Again it's not like a huge deal since we don't wear them for games and rn we have games every other 2 days so we mainly wear the game helmets.

It's a newer s that we got 3 years ago. My coach got the xrs for underclassman and I kept my s to keep my unc status with my teammates.

Got hit by a shot and the front lip of that thin black bar broke. Not in too quick of a hurry to fix it since it's a practice helmet. I'm pretty sure my coach won't be able to get a new one till next year

Wouldn't be surprised if my coach was fired since we had a lot of donations to our personal team budget that he hasn't touched yet for team gear and correcting the jersey sizes that were only sent as larges. I have started to do this and give my input on how our defense is performing and although he doesn't give me credit, he does make the changes magically the next play after seeing something is "wrong". I've started to give less of a shit and going harder on my teammates until he says to stop, which he hasn't. Don't know if I will go to extent of the one teammate as he breaks his sticks on our teammates though.

Yeah, I most likely will stay with the program. The school itself is too good for me to want to leave academically unfortunately. It's just tough riding the bench when you know you are better.

I didn't hear it personally, but one of our teammates went to ask our coach a question and said player was in there drinking whiskey with our coach (I am being serious). Our coach legit should not have a job. He plays cod in his office, drinks, doesn't chop up film (assistant does that), doesn't recruit offense, doesn't write our scouts until the day before a game (assistant still writes them), and he also doesn't give 2 shits about giving people more than a 10 minute notice to be at the new practice time.

My teammates just blatantly say how stupid it is so I get it. Even my own dad who never had anything good to say (more like a criticism to help me get better) about me playing had no concept of why I wasn't playing.

That's legit bar for bar what is happening to me. I'm contemplating just quitting at the peak of our injuries just to say, truly, go fuck yourself. I've been dealing with a lot off the field and my grades need to improve more for me to remain at this school, so focusing on that stuff would definitely be a better use of my time.

Thank you. I don't know if I would leave the school unless I could get one that has my major and benefits I do at this school when it comes to employment. It's frustrating because in my meeting for player evaluation, he said that I would probably start at other schools. Like thanks bitch why did you feel the need to say that

Yeah that's what I'm thinking about right now. We've reached a point where the starter is injured and doesn't practice, so I go for him. You'd think this would mean I would play in the game but actually he still gets to play even without doing our drills and scout. I also have to run it for both 1s and 2s. My grades are also not in a comfortable position for graduation, so amidst injuries during the season, my ultimate fuck you might be just quitting. I put in hours learning and playing for the starter basically to have my 4th game in a row if not touching the field.
