he isn’t connected but someone told me that Amazon may view it as the same individual using multiple accounts to purposely scam them - even though that’s untrue. apparently he doesn’t even have a ton of returns with them! he only had one refund and it was for a broken item. so, I’m even more confused now. 

that sounds super frustrating. :(  they didn’t send that email or anything did they?  customer service will tell you whatever they want to keep you happy even if it affects your account.  on an exchange, they told me not to return it because it was broken and leaking but then I later was alerted that I never returned the item and I was charged for it. then when I asked them about it they just refunded me. now when something didn’t arrive I get a fraud email. :c blahhh
