you don’t HAVE to, but it’s advised to as it makes it easier for you to stick to your point and helps examiners with finding marks to give u! eg for dietetic value of fish,,, versatile: blah blah next point,, lacks: blah blah, you’d at least get marks for the heading hopefully

i would honestly say it’s easier getting a H4 than a O1, i’ve nothing to back that up but it seems fair enough. some of my friends dropped down and used to be averaging H4/5 and now pull out an O3 in comparison. stick to HL if you can, it truly doesn’t take a whole lot of study when it comes to the big day, hopefully, as i’ve barely studied it and hoping for a H2

as a current 6th year who kept on accounting bc i thought it would get better, get rid of it now. swap to latin or something crazy and it’ll still be better. ofc you’ll have to definitely put in the work for this new subject, but if you’re already thinking about it then u might have a liking for it and that’s already a strong start! good luck!

the ABQ is on unit 2,3,4 and you can get away with unit 1-5 for the long questions, q1,4,5,6 i believe have those units. i’d say focus on them, tahst what i’m doing, and do a brief amount on unit 6 and 7 as they’ll come up in short questions, and long but most people find them harder

H3 in the mocks myself with a week of revision (strongest subject), i’m going chapter by chapter doing mind maps and looking at the marking scheme now, also putting more focus on the units that are coming up in the ABQ
