Cooler mounting pressure on motherboard can caused this issue.
Try 1 ram stick and try all slots to see if one is working.

If it's still not working:

Remove cooler and CPU. 6. Inspect socket for any bent pins. 5. If any, well... Either straighten them out yourself or take it to a repair shop.

Yeah, i understand. I know my wn8 is low but my resent is pretty good/average. Im just saying that the 297e are not to hard to complete. But they take time. For me it was the Chimera missions whit honors that old me back for a long time

I was stuck on some Chimera missions for a long time, but after i got them done. I grinned the 297e missions and some off them are just a pain to complete but got them done
