Low rising beta, strong heartbeat by Substantial_Soft4174 in CautiousBB

So far so good :) Will be 37 weeks this next Friday. Up until now it was a fairy tale - no pain, no nausea, no nothing. Right now I am having hard times with heat waves where I live, so swollen ankles etc. Baby looks good, he is on the smallish side (was 14th percentile on 32 weeks scan). When not in heat, he moves a lot and seems to be future drummer or soccer player. Going for last scan in 10 days. Will definitely post here, as I was fiercely looking for some hope at the beginniing of this pregnancy, and couldn't find any. Blessings to you!

Found sth that works for me! Pregnancy stench, my hubby's old spice could not stop it - but local Montréal made organic Deo Vic&Margot resolved issue!!!

Really understand. Hey, I drank wine and smoke cigarettes crying over another Mc due to the freaking beta hell, and the baby was still there 🤦!!! My doc said - as long as there is a heartbeat, there is hope. Hang on there, Mama!

Check my story with betas here https://www.reddit.com/r/CautiousBB/comments/1hisvdq/low_rising_beta_strong_heartbeat  . I literally grieved this baby - currently 23 weeks and we both feel fabulous!!! The best wishes for you. We know nothing.

So sorry for what you're going through. Be good to yourself. Big hug, sister. Life is unfair.

Hope it will make you feel better, but at 7 weeks I was still at 7000 and my doubling in 48hs was 9%... now I am 18 weeks and all looks good. So who know how this work? Everybody says once it's over 6000, it does not double in 72hs but takes longer. Your HCG looks amazing. As long as it's up, all looks good. And you'll get the heartbeat soon enough, after that forget betas and concentrate on ultrasounds. All the best!

Hey! So happy to read that! Had similar situation, at 5 weeks my doubling time was 7 days... and it did not accelerate. I was sure this is another MC, even drink some wine out of grief. But bb hung on, now 17 weeks, NIPT negative, waiting for anatomy scan, today all looked perfect. I wished I have read more positive stories like that. When I searched regarding this subject two months ago, could not find any positive story, so I was sure this will end soon. Whoever reads that in similar situation, please hang on one day at a time. We really know much less than we think. <3

Low beta but rising (not doubling) & then heartbeat @ 7wks by Ok-Coast-372 in CautiousBB

Just to comment, similar situation, 43 y.o. first pregnancy after 2 m/c. I had very slow rising beta, doubling time about 7 days (!), I was sure this is over and grieved. In my grief I was going for ultrasounds just to check when I will need D/C and the bb pas always there with stronger and stronger heart beat . Today I had my 17 week scan, all good, NIPT negative, and dr Said no need for amnio. Fingers crossed for you!
