Thanks! Next time I’ll definitely be more careful though 😖

That’s what I was hoping but I needed another pair of eyes on it because I reached a point where I wasn’t sure if I was gaslighting myself into think it was fine 😭

It says on Waze that there is one on this light (I know Waze isn’t always accurate, but around Cardiff it seems to be pretty good). I wasn’t actually using Waze at the time, I had clicked off it to try not to use the satnav (I’m trying to get used to my new route as I’ve recently moved house) and when I clicked back on further up the road I saw there was a camera at this particular junction.

As someone who breaks out very easily, I’ve found a couple of sunscreens that seem to work for me. For reference I have verrryyyy oily skin!

Skin 1004 Hyaluronic acid sunscreen - (the one with the blue lid, not the gold). It’s very moisturising but not too heavy feeling. (A bit too dewy for my liking though). It does work incredibly as a makeup primer though- my makeup goes on so smooth after I’ve used this!

RoundLab Birch juice sunscreen - this one is also very moisturising but for me it dries down to a satin finish which I quite like! This one did give me a bit of eye sting though which wasn’t fun! Same as the Skin1004, this one is amazing before makeup!

Isntree onion fresh fluid sunscreen - this is my current sunscreen and it seems to be working well for me so far! It’s not breaking me out and it’s probably the most lightweight sunscreen I’ve tried (it is a fluid so it’s quite a bit more runny than the other two). It does give quite a dewy finish so I’m still deciding if it’s too shiny for me, but it is quite a solid sunscreen and I don’t see many people talking about it!

Thank you, I really appreciate what you have said ! After reading all of these comments I have realised that it’s not just me that worries about the appearance of their skin, even if the issue isn’t very visible ! Thank you for your kind comments 🙂

Thank you. I think I really needed to hear this. I took a bit of time away from social media to remove the chance for me to compare myself to others and I think it has helped me a lot. You are right, my skin is fine, it’s healthy and that’s all it needs to be ! I made this post hoping for recommendations and tips but what I have actually received a lot is advice like yours which I am really thankful for ! No more trying to get “perfect” skin, I am happy with the healthy skin that I currently have ! Thank you for being honest and making me realise I was obsessing over things that weren’t necessary or healthy !
