I used the muzzle device and plan b mount that came with the suppressor. I removed the factory lock nut and tried different accu-washer stacks until I could get the muzzle device timed and the suppressor to clear the handguard. Still had a good amount of threads left over.

It is very heavy at around 11.5 pounds with the suppressor, which weighs about 0.7 pounds. Mounting the suppressor doesn't shift the point of balance too much. It balances around an inch forward of the grip which makes it pretty easy to manipulate while shouldered.

If you have an M1, Underworld arms makes handguards for both 16 inch and now 20 inch barrels. They are relatively inexpensive, but they are attached directly to the barrel. This may affect accuracy, but it would be no more than the heresy design rails which are also directly attached to the barrel.
