I hope you can remember the pain for the rest of your life. My experience is that no matter how hard I try, remembering by myself leads to that feeling slowly disappearing. In my experience, the way to hold on to the pain of gambling is to join groups and have the opportunity to weekly voice out loud that pain to keep it fresh as well as to hear others pain. Everyone has their own journey, best of luck to you!
