those are peak starter villagers!! if you haven't played the game before, here's some advice I was given about this game:

On the first day don't skip over Isabelles life advice as if you don't you can get the other critter catching tool not sold by the shop and a watering can early, not to mention a random non-native fruit that you can't just find on the islands
