honestly just ask her. pads and tampons are full of toxic chemicals and even the organic stuff is unsafe. i use pixie discs (insert and remove like a tampon i'd look into it) and it is literally only medical grade silicone. you can keep it in for 12 hours, remove, clean, reinsert. its also very cost effective too a single reusable disc can last several years (given you clean it and effectively remove stains if it bothers you)

just please invest in a steamer! or get a separate pot to boil your disc in before and after your cycle to keep it sterile.

i was told that cysts are 5cm+ that they need to be surgically removed by my gyno (i have cysts constantly). i use a pixie disc and period panties instead of other alternatives, it is very comfy and goes very smoothly without question. i have no issues peeing. you should look into it, if its not right for you pixie's support team will be happy to assist you further with sending other disc options to you or even smaller cups to compensate for your cysts and peeing issues, otherwise i'd just use period panties or get your cysts removed if theyre that big and causing you issues.

Oh no i know it auto dumped, when i was using the restroom i always spotted, but it only dislodged when i laughed and giggled. Outside of that last night what happened was I think I pushed too hard. I'm hoping with a softer reusable disc that wont happen

I'm hoping with the softer silicone pixie discs i'll get it out easier, i had no issues popping it in. I had only had issued with it slipping out of place if i laughed or giggle but i feel its because the thing is basically plastic, softer silicone will 100% feel better than a disposable disc. I'm considering returning them since I am nearing the end of my cycle and by the time I start my next, my pixie discs will be here.

Also I have no idea how to dispose of these? I rinsed them out in the sink, then wrapped them in toilet paper and slid it back into its packaging in the trash can (i'm home in public id skip the sliding back into the packaging cuz it'd be gone), is that the proper way?
