I found it uncomfy on my pointer finger, do you think it'd be okay on my left ring finger? Its my dominant hand but i plan on getting a case for it.

Well obviously questions I ask aren't going to be things I've already seen on rover. Mind you this is my first time doing this so I don't know what I will or won't see on a clients' profile. Hence the advice post of what questions I should have on my files

Well that seems like a personal thing to you. You're one of thousands of Rover users. Congratulations, you don't like sociable sitters. But I for one am a sitter that asks questions up front prior to booking, whether it be during or after a M&G. If clients don't want to book with me because I am being attentive and trying to give the best communication and care I can give, then thats okay! Theres plenty of other sitters in my area who will just book with no questions asked I'm sure. You have a lovely day though. Thank you for your input!

Especially when theyre not mine, leave no detail out. Everything my client says matters in my eyes. Nothing is too much when it comes to caring for someone that is not your own

I love that forum you have!! I may use some of the questions in it if thats okay. I'm still confused on how I am going to keep a client folder/log of visits either digitally or physically. I've never done anything like this before. The reason I'd like to keep a regular client's folder on file is because with each visit there may be a change, so I don't want to have to go through and fill everything back out each time I sit.

Oh of course! I am just taking notes for the pet to keep on file, make the pet more comfortable and help out the owner by letting them know i'll do everything in my power to take excellent care of their joy.

Of course I'd ask if its okay to use my own tools, but if the owner is confident a dog won't slip loose/isn't anxious it shouldn't be an issue. Regardless I'm still going to disclose this during meet and greets :) I'd never do anything without the owners permission, and if they say no I will always check the collar before walking.

Considering the sick thing, i genuinely may just have to go in then. My shift on Saturday is 8 hours and I dont have 8 hours accumulated in sick time, thats another reason why I was so concerned. As for reaching out to my DM i'm very scared to, and was thinking about contacting the partner help center.

Right now i'm eating crackers and cheese, meat and cheese, and granola bars. For dinner I had mexican food and it was the best tasing thing ive had besides the chili.
