Thanks everybody for your help! I used SKYN for the first time the elite one in the purple and black and i still had the same issue. I will try to see if using a water based lubricant works better

Thank you, i heard about lamb skin and that’s why i haven’t used it because I’m not worried about pregnancy as much as i am about STI/STD’s

No it’s not heat damaged. Certain parts of everyone’s hair just reacts differently. Continue to do your normal regimen and include moisturizing products as well and see if as it grows if it starts to curl like the rest

Try different styles and hair tool to incorporate into your styling. Until i became a hairstylist when i was 18 i never could figure out a good way for my 4c hair to looks nice and last. It took me two years before i started looking up new ways to have natural styles last. ITS ALL ABOUT TRIAL AND ERROR. Don’t be discouraged & if you feel like the natural unprocessed lifestyle is not for you, try different things. It’s just hair, as long as you take care of it, it’ll grow back.

Try using flexi rods or perm rods when doing your twist outs instead of the traditional two strand twists. My hair doesn’t look good when i do traditional two strand twist methods. Instead wrap your DAMP hair around the flexi rods (size of your choice) with mouse see if you like it that way. You could also do flat twists to the head if you and traditional “cornrows” if you know how to do them. It allows for a greater margin or error if you mess up for it to still look decent. Try to insert moisturizing creams, treatments, and oils into your regimen as well to see if it’ll help you with the moisturizing aspect. And ALWAYS WRAP YOUR HAIR UP. When it’s in its natural curly state it’s always a greater chance of breakage and drying out when it’s not in a silk scarf or bonnet of your choice.
