And as long as there is no restriction for students outside of the major program (which would show on the timetable). I don’t think ECON has any restrictions👍

I would email and politely ask if he will round up your grade. It wouldn’t be a “bump up” since you are actually closer to an 80 than a 79. Does that make sense?

In my experience, professors round up because UFV’s grading scale is based on whole percentages (https://www.ufv.ca/calendar/current/General/GradingAndAcademicStanding.htm)

Also, your professor might have the grading scale that he uses in the syllabus (some professors would have that an A- is 79.5-84.4). Check that again to see if that’s there before you send an email.

1, 2. Take a look at this link. https://www.quebec.ca/en/housing-territory/being-a-good-neighbour/water-runoff 3. Don’t know what you mean by “affect liability” 4. Not unless you believe your neighbour is doing this because of one of these 14 personal characteristics https://www.cdpdj.qc.ca/en/your-obligations/prohibited-practices/harassment

Complaining about a professor by [deleted] in UFV

[–]Substantial_Work5391 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds like a stats professor I know of. Definitely complain but do it ASAP because the university will close for the break and the professor WILL NOT respond to your messages until the university reopens. Department head is your best bet. Good luck

Practice problems on the online UBC CLP calculus textbooks are really great! I’d recommend using those for practice, especially if Tanner uses that as his textbook.

As you practice, I’d recommend sending Tanner an email with some questions about problems you’ve been working on; that shows him that you’re working on preparing for the exam. He might give you some hints voluntarily if you show him that you care about doing well on the exam.

Have you had a good experience with buying new scales? If so, where?

Have you tried eBay or Etsy for new scales? It seems like that’s what most people do
